Warning to all!

Where has everyone gone!?? For the last 2 weeks our relatively active clan has vanished. I was being nice, letting it slide for the last 4 practices...but if people don't show up at practice, and they don't let me know before hand I will be giving out MP warnings. For those of you that don't know, if you get 3 MP warnings, then you get a dishonorable discharge from the clan.

Like Chronic said in a recent post. Its crunch time. We have proven that we have what it takes to win....But we wont win unless you guys make the effort to show up.

5v5 win over SoF

Tonight in our 5v5 TWL match against SoF we were able to achieve a 2-0 win. The roster contained Lt Col. Zlayer, Sgt. J.Santos, PFC. AcuteChronic, PVT. Dyno, and PVT. Xvar. We were on the Map Basrah Streets, A custom TWL map between the Chinese and MEC forces. For those who don't know the Map is a perfect 5v5 infantry only map inside a small section of a city.

We started off on China, we split into two squads. Alpha consisted of Sgt. J.Santos, and Pvt. Dyno. Bravo consisted of the dynamic duo of Pfc. AcuteChronic and Pvt. Xvar. Lt Col. Zlayer of course was Commander providing us with UAVs exactly when we wanted them. Alpha, as well as the Commander was incharge with capping and defending wreckage, which is the easiest base to get to if your MEC (which we were not). Bravo was tasked with taking and defending Lookout, a base pretty much away from the main battle. We were able to hold both bases for the most part. We struggled to defend Wreckage but they only capped it once and we took it back in a matter of seconds. We won the round 49-0!

The second round we were MEC, and our plan was the same. This round started off 80% worse than the first, but we were determind. Alpha and Zlayer charged for Wreckage and had a small epic struggle for the flag. However they were outnumbered 4-3 and lost the flag. After a close call were the rushed our main, we were able to fend them off and fight back to Wreckage. Meanwhile, Bravo noticed that the entire other team was rushing our main and wound up capping the China Main, just as we re captured Wreckage. We capped them out in an estimated 2 minutes of the 2nd round winning 92-0!

It was a well needed win for us. And I am giving MVP to both AcuteChronic and Xvar for their actions in capping the enemy main to let us cap them out. Good Game 6th...lets keep it up!

New roster, recruitment, and match format

Thanks to GySgt. Natme, we now have a new format for recruitment, the clan roster, and upcoming matches/scrims. Everything is PHP-based now, so the roster is much more easily updated and matches are easier to sign up for. The new recruitment form is a PHP form that, when submitted, posts the application under the applicable recruit's name in Recruitment Office on the forums.

In addition, we are still looking for new members. I'd also extend to the offer to any previous 6th Marines members (who were not Dishonorably Discharged ) to consider rejoining.

Restarting the 6th

We have decided to restart the 6th back up, and we're going back to Battlefield 2. Over the next couple of weeks we'll be trying to recruit people and get some of the old members back. We decided to start over with a new database for the site as the old one was getting extremely slow and cluttered. However, you can still view the old posts and site at www.6thclan.com/post, but we will no longer be actively using that database.
